EXAMS

There will be one mid-term exam given on Thursday 03/24, covering most of Chapters 1-5 and the beginning of 14. The exam will be given during our regular class time (though only for about two hours) and in our regular room. The cumulative final exam will be given on Thursday 05/05 from 8:00PM to 11:00PM. The location of the exam may not be our regular room, and thus any change will be announced well in advance. You will be permitted to use three pages of handwritten help-sheets (front & back, 8.5" by 11") for the mid-term exam and five help-sheets for the final exam, but you may not use the textbook. Copies of all needed statistical tables will be provided with the exam; do not bring your own. Please bring pencils (no pens please), erasers, and a calculator. As a general rule, once the first person has left, no one else may enter to take the exam (i.e., do not be late).
